Somatic Vision Games can now be used with advanced protocols.
Before doing so, please make sure you are using the latest version of software located here.
The attached documents explain how to use Somatic Vision and other “external” games with the Event Wizard to train any variables including coherence, z-scores, HEG, and so on.
A basic single-variable method is as follows, but can be made as complex as you like:
- From the Setup/Home Screen, click the View or Change Settings Button, then click the Display Options button, and choose the “Emulation” under the Dll Memory Mapping Mode section.
- Next, you will have to go to the Event Wizard. On Event 12, set it to say “if use equation x=E1A is greater than x=E1B then do nothing” and Enable this Event. PLEASE NOTE: x=E1A should only be used if Event 1 is the Event that you would like to control the Somatic Vision Game. Event 12 does not need to be visible.
Setting the protocol in this fashion, will now allow the Somatic Vision Game to be controlled by the “Lobeta”. In the Somatic Vision, any control that you would like to be controlled by the feedback will have to be set to “Lobeta” for this example.
List of all controls that can be used:
Event 9 = Delta
Event 10 = Theta
Event 11 = Alpha
Event 12 = Lobeta
Event 13 = Beta
Event 14 = Hibeta
Event 15 = Gamma
Event 16 = User
***Please Note: This protocol design, and all designs provided by BrainMaster, are for demonstration and illustration purposes only. It is the clinician’s responsibility to ensure that any designs used provide the intended feedback.
