Can’t Open Video Device error when trying to run Multi-Media Player

To fix this problem Turn up the hardware acceleration in Display Properties.

 

 

  1. Right click on Desktop
  2. Click on properties on the menu that appears.
  3. Click on Settings tab
  4. Click on Advanced button
  5. Click on Troubleshoot tab
  6. Drag Hardware Acceleration to Full (all the way to the right)
  7. Click on Apply button.
  8. Click OK and close Display Properties window.
