Finger Temperature Probe
The Finger Temperature Probe works seamlessly with the BrainMaster Temperature Pod, providing precise temperature monitoring. It is an essential tool in the realm of biofeedback. Moreover, this probe actively monitors and reports fingertip temperature, a crucial metric for gauging the client’s state of arousal during biofeedback sessions. By tracking subtle changes in finger temperature, practitioners can gain invaluable insights into the client’s physiological responses, making this probe a vital component in the assessment and regulation of stress and relaxation levels.
The Temperature Pod
Additionally, the Temperature Pod serves as a versatile and advanced interface. It connects to a variety of thermal sensors to a central biofeedback system. This interface is designed to support: thermocouple sensors and passive infrared (pIR) sensors. Thus, it makes it adaptable to different types of biofeedback training. Currently, the Temp Pod supports two key sensors: the Finger Temperature Probe and the pIR HEG (hemoencephalography) headband.
Once again, the Temp Pod’s interface with the Finger Temperature Probe greatly enhances its effectiveness in biofeedback. Finger temperature training relies on measuring temperature fluctuations to monitor the autonomic nervous system. Lower temperatures often indicate stress, while higher temperatures signal relaxation. This real-time feedback enables practitioners to tailor interventions and track progress, making the Temp Pod essential in clinical settings.
PLEASE NOTE: This device must be used in conjunction with the BrainMaster Temperature Pod, and will not function on its own.
