Introducing the Carmen HEG Headset—featuring the innovative pIR HEG headband, an experimental device developed by Dr. Jeffrey Carmen. This cutting-edge headband uses biofeedback to monitor the heat radiated from the forehead, providing a real-time reflection of the client’s physiological state.
The Temperature Pod serves as an advanced, versatile interface that connects various thermal sensors to a central biofeedback system. Designed to support both thermocouple and passive infrared (pIR) sensors, it allows for seamless integration with different types of biofeedback training. Currently, the Temp Pod is compatible with two primary sensors: the Finger Temperature Probe and the pIR HEG (hemoencephalography) headband.
When used in conjunction with the pIR HEG headband, the Temp Pod significantly enhances the biofeedback experience. The device functions as a tool to measure and reflect the heat emitted from the forehead. This offers a valuable insight into the client’s physiological state. This experimental approach to biofeedback is aimed at improving the effectiveness and precision of training sessions, helping individuals gain a deeper understanding of their body’s responses. Additionally, Discovery Auxiliary Input Adapter required to use this product with Discovery 24 systems.
