At the heart of the package is the SCR Pod, a sophisticated device that serves as an interface. Specifically, it converts skin conductance into a readable signal, providing a clear representation of the client’s physiological state. This device is fully compatible with both the Atlantis and Discovery systems via DC amplifiers. By accurately measuring the conductivity of the client’s skin, it offers valuable insights into their level of activation. Consequently, this data plays a pivotal role in understanding the client’s physiological response, which is essential for effectively tailoring biofeedback sessions to achieve optimal results.
The package also includes 48 Snap Leads, which come in a set of five 48-inch leads. Each set contains one blue, one yellow, one black, one green, and one red electrode, specifically designed for seamless connection with sensor disks of the snap type. These leads ensure reliable and accurate data transmission during sessions, facilitating efficient and precise monitoring of skin conductance.
To complement the SCR Pod and snap leads, we also provide four VELCRO Finger Bands. This works in perfect harmony to ensure the secure and comfortable placement of the skin sensors. In addition, these bands are an indispensable part of any neurofeedback toolkit, making them ideal for stress assessment, relaxation training, and various other biofeedback applications. Furthermore, our AgCl Finger Bands offer the precision and reliability required to capture high-quality data, thereby helping to achieve the best possible outcomes. While the SCR Pod supports various skin sensors, we recommend using silver/silver chloride (AgCl) sensors for optimal performance. These sensors should be placed on the fingers or palms. With two sensors per channel, it requires a total of four sensors to capture data from two SCR channels. Together, these components make the SCR package a powerful tool for anyone looking to enhance their biofeedback training and gain deeper insights into their physiological states.
