The Temp Pod
Introducing, the Temperature Pod. This serves as a versatile and advanced interface. It connects to a variety of thermal sensors to a central biofeedback system. This interface is designed to support: thermocouple sensors and passive infrared (pIR) sensors. Thus, it makes it adaptable to different types of biofeedback training. Currently, the Temp Pod supports two key sensors: the Finger Temperature Probe and the pIR HEG (hemoencephalography) headband.
The Finger Temperature Probe Sensor
To continue, the TempPod’s interface with the Finger Temperature Probe greatly enhances its effectiveness in biofeedback. Finger temperature training relies on measuring temperature fluctuations to monitor the autonomic nervous system. Lower temperatures often indicate stress, while higher temperatures signal relaxation. This real-time feedback enables practitioners to tailor interventions and track progress, making the TempPod essential in clinical settings.
