# Entropy, Directed Coherence, and related documentation

Entropy and Directed Coherence are two important new topics in EEG processing.  They address system order and disorder, and causal information flow, as basic concepts.

Event-related potentials are a way of studying brain responses to specific stimuli, to assess cognitive and emotional processing.  ERP's are one way of studying them.  Another method is Z-Builder which constructs individual databases to assess and image changes due to stimuli or interventions, etc.
