The Event Wizard is an advanced protocol design capability that was introduced in the 2.5SE software. It adds to and extends the built-in protocol processor, to provide additional functions. These include training for many new variables including frequency (average and peak), percent energy, variability, coherence, phase, complex equations, and other variables. It provides an English language style pulldown menu designer, plus a powerful equation processor, the Math Wizard.
It is not necessary to use the Event Wizard. The core software has many easy-to-use built-in functions, and none of these are changed. The Event Wizard provides extensions to control advanced use of games, animations, DVD’s, and so on. It is to be used in addition to the built-in controls for animations, games, sounds, and so on.
By using the Event Wizard, it is possible to create more complex protocols, that may be easier to use, due to their more sophisticated design. The Event Wizard includes advanced features such as MIDI (musical instrument device interface) voices, sustained reward criterion, refractory period, and other functions.
