The 2.5SE Software includes features including a new "blackboard" look, reduced screen flicker, a built-in EEG-controlled DVD player (optional, comes with MMP Multimedia Player) with visual and auditory feedback modulation and DVD bookmarks saved for each trainee. The MMP player is also upgraded with contrast modulation, a "zoom" mode, and also the ability to "pulse" modulate to use slide shows for feedback. We also now have the ability to program frequency bands all the way down to 0.0 Hz (useful down to about 0.2-0.3 Hz in practice), plus all of the features described below. This release also installs all known special DLL's you may need.

Z Score Training (optional) (using Applied Neurosciences real-time Z DLL), now with a new live Z Score panel showing all 76 Z Scores during training with sites ID field; live z score indicator now works during a MINI-Q!; live z scores work during a playback!; automatic identification of 10-20 sites when using record and playback; fix of the notch filter bug noted above; Improved screen "cosmetics" with no flicker; new "wide text stats" screen with extensive live statistics; addition of color selection for Event Wizard graphs; new wide event trends graph; addition of "Review SW" browser in BReview for fast access to Review postprocessing software, including John N. NOTE: The 2.5SE software adds the new "Event Wizard" design interface, including a new "Math Wizard" equation processor, interface to the Macromedia Flash Player, and more. It is now possible to design complex protocols training not only amplitude but also frequency, energy, phase, coherence, and any equations or rules you want to design. Supports all of the built-in filters, autothresholds, coherence and phase modules, session control, etc. Optional real-time Z-score training will also be supported in 2.5SE with the forthcoming real-time NeuroGuide interface.

2.5SE now includes a built-in Macromedia Flash Player, allowing control of Flash games such as Pacman and Boxes, and any other user-designed screens written in Flash.

This update also includes the new Multimedia Player. You will automatically get a free "Grand Canyon" demo when you use "Window/Multimedia Player". You will need a new passkey to access the full MMPlayer and play any avi, mpeg, wav, mp3, mp4, or midi files, or use live CD's for feedback.
